DanceNastics

Interested in a dual class. This 1 hour class is designed as a combination introduction to dance and basic gymnastics. This class will incorporate the development of motor skills, coordination, dance fundamentals, and rhythm. Your child will learn through music, stories, and games the basic fundamentals of dance, then go into the gym for a lesson in gymnastics. They will work on beam, bars, floor, tumble track, and vault. All taught in a fun safe environment.

This class will be divided into two 30 minute sessions composing of pre-ballet / ballet and beginnner gymnastics.

Dance

Pre-Ballet (3yr olds) - Teaches the fundamentals of ballet including musicality, agility, and vocabulary. Reinforces following directions and how to interact with peers.

Pre-Tap (3 yr olds) - Teaches the fundamentals of Tap including rhythmic sounds created by the feet, flexibility in the feet, and musicality.

Beginning Ballet (4 yr old) - Teaches the fundamentals of Ballet including musicality, agility, vocabulary, and ballet technique.

Beginning Tap (4 yr old) - Teaches the fundamentals of Tap including musicality, rhythmic sounds created by the feet, flexibility in the feet, and following combinations.

Required Attire: All dance students must wear a leotard and either pink leather ballet shoes or black tap shoes.

We require a minimum of three registered students to run a class.

Annual Registration fee applies to dance classes. Registration fee will be $40/year. Additional children in same family will receive a reduced rate. Registration period is based on May to April fiscal year. Students entering program throughout the fiscal year will receive a prorated fee based on start date.
